Job Description
The company wants to hire a candidate for the open position of QA engineer. In this role, you will be involved in the development and testing of the software solutions. You, as a QA Engineer, will be working with a SaaS development team to design, execute, and maintain the test cases, scripts, and plans.
You will be involved in collaborations with the developers and testers to make sure that high-quality software products are delivered and maintained properly.
Responsibilities of QA Engineer
- You have to perform the cross-browser testing of the web applications.
- You have to do the multi-platform testing of the software to ensure that they’re compatible with all of the platforms.
- In this role, you will be creating reports of the defects that you find in the software solution, and you have to report them in the JIRA.
- You have to work with cross-functional teams to do the root cause analysis.
- You have to monitor the defects, bugs, test results, and process control documentation as well.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to make sure that smooth testing takes place.
- You have to create proper test plans, strategies, and cases to make sure that high product quality is maintained.
- Get involved in the automated testing and setting of the automation scripts.
