Job Description of Test Engineer
Wipro is actively looking for a motivated tester who can join their testing team as a Test Engineer for their offices located in Hyderabad, Chennai, and Pune. In this role, you will be testing the quality of the products or software developed by the company or otherwise maintained by the company.
You will have to work with both developers and testers to automate, test, maintain, and process the execution reports.
Responsibilities
- You will have the primary responsibility of testing the applications, finding the defects, and resolving the issues.
- Once you resolve the issues, you have to re-test the application to see if any defects are left, and if not, then create a proper report as well.
- You have to create automation scripts to test the software and automate them as well.
- You have to work with automation frameworks and tools to streamline the testing processes.
- You have to understand the product requirements and ensure that it is in proper compliance with the quality standards.
