Job Description

The company is hiring for a Test Automation Engineer who will be involved in Web Testing; you should have experience with Java-based APIs and Microservices. In this role, you will be involved with the testing of API using Postman, etc.

Alongside this, you should have knowledge of test management tools such as Zephyr, etc. Not only this, but you will also be planning and executing automation test cases.

Apart from this, you will have the following responsibilities.

Responsibilities for Test Automation Engineer

• Analyze the technical documentation to create comprehensive test cases and scripts.
• Work on the non-functional and functional tests for APIs by using services like Postman or similar.
• Create tests for microservices.
• Make sure the endpoints are working fine by hitting the URLs and analyzing the responses.
• Create and maintain the test scenarios and parameterized test data as required.
• Try to find an efficient approach for automation by analyzing the test cases.
• Use Katalon Studio or Selenium to automate at least 30% of test cases.
• Work with Zephyr to manage and test cases, execute them, and track the defects.
• Work with the development and testing team to implement automated tests.
