Privacy Policy

Account information. When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.

Candidate profile. If you use Growzical as a candidate, you may provide your phone number, gender, current role, headline, location (searched via Google Places and stored as a place description), social and portfolio links, work experience, education history, skills, roles, projects, and your resume file.

Employer/company information. For employer and company accounts, we collect company details such as name, domain, logo, office locations, hiring information, and verification documents submitted for company approval.

Payment information. When you purchase a bundle or paid resource, payment is processed by Razorpay. We receive confirmation of successful payment and an order reference - we do not receive or store your card, UPI, or bank details.

Usage data. We automatically collect basic technical information such as your browser type, device information, and pages visited, to keep the platform secure and improve it over time.

Cookies. We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies.

Growzical links to community WhatsApp groups organized by domain (e.g. Web Development, Data Science). Joining a group is entirely optional and happens directly on WhatsApp - we do not automatically add you to any group, and we do not control or receive data from WhatsApp's own handling of your phone number or messages once you join. We work with a small number of trusted service providers to run Growzical:

• Razorpay - payment processing for bundle purchases.
• Bunny.net - secure file storage and content delivery for resumes and bundle files.
• Google Places API - location search suggestions. Text you type into a location field is sent to Google to return matching places.

These providers only receive the information necessary to perform their specific service and are not permitted to use it for any other purpose.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:

• With an employer, when you apply to a job or grab they've posted
• With the service providers listed above, to operate the platform
• When required by law, court order, or governmental request
• To protect the rights, safety, or property of Growzical, our users, or the public

We retain your account and profile information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your profile data within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain certain records (for example, payment records) to meet legal or accounting obligations.

Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Access to candidate and company data is restricted to authorized roles within Growzical. While we take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

• You can review and update most of your profile information directly from your dashboard
• You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• You can request correction of inaccurate information
• You can request deletion of your account and associated data

Growzical is intended for users who are at least 18 years old, in keeping with its focus on jobs, internships, and employment. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for legal reasons. We'll update the "Last updated" date above whenever we make changes, and significant changes will be communicated through the platform.
