Job Description

There is an open position for a Senior Test Engineer in Irdeto company for the Noida location. In this role, you will have crucial responsibilities of validating the quality of the products/solutions/services to make sure that the customer gets the expected delivery.

Your major focus will be implementing the testing strategies on devices like OTT, STBs, Mobiles, Smart TVs, etc. Depending upon the needs, the implementations could be done on the legacy devices as well. 

The company will provide you with proper training (if required), and you have to make sure that the end solutions are defect-free. In this role, you will be managing your juniors, and reporting will be done to the Integration and Test Managers. You will be working in a dynamic team with a Test Manager, Test Lead, etc. Overall, you will have quite a lot of responsibilities.

Responsibilities of Senior Test Engineer

• Do the customer-facing interactions to understand their needs and resolve the issue.
• You may have to travel whenever necessary for smooth communication with the customers facing issues.
• Perform proper testing of devices such as mobile phones, smart TVs, OTT platforms, STBs, etc.
• Work with product test teams, engineering teams, customers, and other personnel who are related to the issue to address the issue and take steps.
• You will have to provide an understanding of the STB architecture, OOT platform, networking, DTH components, and test processes.
• Do the internal discussions to resolve the customer-related issues.
• Do the basic configurations related to the testing of the backend components such as PSI/SI, Conditional Access System, Origin, etc.

Eligibility Criteria
