Job Description
TCS wants to hire an individual with around 3 to 5 years of experience in testing background. The job role will be Technical Lead, and the primary focus will be Selenium Automation Testing. In this role, you will be mainly testing and automating using Java and Selenium and ensuring the quality of the software products is maintained. You will be managing a team and will be a part of a team as well, so you are going to have quite a big responsibility, and you need to make sure that the quality standards and guidelines are followed while maintaining the software solutions. You will be further involved in the reporting of the software applications to your seniors as well.

Responsibilities of a Selenium Automation Tester
- Stay up to date with the latest testing-related industry trends and implement them in the products to bring efficient results.
- Design, develop, and execute the automated test scripts by utilising technologies like Java and Selenium.
- You will have to collaborate and participate in the internal and external teams in order to find automation opportunities.
- Create test reports of the defects found and make sure the bugs are removed.
- Focus on the continuous improvement of the automation methodologies in order to achieve the goals.
- You will have to provide mentorship to all of the junior team members and assist in any possible way.
- Create guidelines and documentation that will help and act as technical documents.
- Do the regular code reviews and take the necessary actions if any defects or bugs are identified.
- Overall, focus on improving the quality of the software.
