Ontic is hiring a Software Engineer for its Backend team in Noida or Pune. The role is for candidates with 2–5 years of backend development experience and strong knowledge of Java and Spring Boot. You will work on backend services, APIs, data models and applications that handle large volumes of data, using technologies like Elasticsearch and MongoDB. The role also includes working with Product, Engineering and QA teams, fixing production issues, improving application performance, taking features from design to deployment and support, and participating in code reviews. Good problem-solving and debugging skills, along with the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks, are required. Experience with distributed systems, microservices, AWS/Azure/GCP, Kafka or RabbitMQ, Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD will be a plus. Ontic is looking for someone who enjoys learning new technologies and building reliable backend systems in a fast-paced product environment. The position is full-time and on-site, with locations in Noida and Pune.
