Job Description

Join Wipro as a Trainee Engineer who will be a part of a quality assurance team, and you will also be working with developers to make sure the solutions that are deployed for clients are of good quality and efficient as well. In this role, you will be creating test plans and cases with a primary focus on adhering to quality standards.

As a trainee, you will have a major responsibility to work with both testers and developers because you have to check if everyone is on the same page. Apart from this, you will be reporting to your managers or leads about the progress and any findings related to the defects.

Last but not least, you will be involved with user acceptance testing using various tools and techniques.

Responsibilities Of Trainee Engineer

• You have to make sure that the on-time delivery of the functionality is done.
• Provide the proper and relevant details or reports to the stakeholders.
• Communicate with the team and the clients to make sure everyone is on the same page.
• Create test strategies, execute them, create reports, and escalate wherever required.
• Find the defects, resolve them, and re-test the application.
• Implement the regression testing and UAT once the bug is resolved.
• Follow Wipro’s methodologies to implement the testing processes.
• Work with the development team to capture test cases.
• Use the automation tools to automate the tasks.
• Work on testing life cycle tools such as GUI and VB macros.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for Trainee Engineer at Wipro is listed below:

• You should have 15 years of full-time education, which means you should have a graduation degree in any discipline; the engineering field is preferred.
