Job Description
JIO is hiring a Testing Engineer for their Mumbai office; in this role, you will be ensuring that the quality standards and guidelines of software solutions are met. As a tester, you will be working with various teams to finalize the test plans and procedures, including the reviewing of the test cases and also different phases of the testing such as User Acceptance Testing, System Integration Testing, Feature Integration Testing, and much more.
You must have a solid understanding of the testing methodologies and strategies through which you can enhance the quality of the products. As a testing engineer at JIO, you will work closely with the quality assurance team to reach the company’s goals.
Responsibilities of Testing Engineer
- Check the products for quality through testing scripts.
- Raise tickets if any defects are found during the test.
- Make sure the defect resolution is done on time.
- Re-test the applications after implementing the solutions.
- Review the test plans and finalize them for all testing phases through various mechanisms.
- Work with the QA team for each release of the software application.
- Coordinate with vendors while the testing is done and make sure the issue resolutions are done on time.
- Work as a lead to ensure the timely delivery of the applications or scripts.
- Collaborate with Solutions Architect to make sure the test results meet the requirements and standards.
