Job Description

Virtusa has an open position for Mobile Automation Testing; in this job profile, you will be doing the mobile testing by designing, creating, coding, developing, and maintaining the test cases. The test scripts or cases will be implemented on the UIs and mobile frames/views to ensure that they are properly functioning. 

The test cases will automated, which means the job requires experience with automation testing as well. Your overall focus should be the enhancement of the performance, reliability, security, and robustness of the UIs and mobile applications. You have to use Java or Python to create the test cases and implement them as well.

You need to know about IntelliJ or Eclipse, and the experience with Selenium or Appium for mobile automation testing is very much needed. Last but not least, you need to know Git, Jenkins, JIR, and Cucumber and have a basic understanding of cloud-based architecture.

Responsibilities of Mobile Automation Testing Job

• You have to create the automated test scripts to check the validity of the UIs and mobile frames.
• You have to make sure the automation scripts are working fine and if there are defects then you need to re-design the scripts or cases.
• Make sure the compliance with engineering displine are met.
• Alongside, the compliance with global IT and HSBC standards are met too.
• Work with dynamic team and participate in Agile methdologies.
• Work with team to implement the CI/CD pipleines concepts by the use of Groovy scripting.
• Do the regular code-reviews to make sure the end-results are accurate.
• Find the defects and take the needful actions.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for this job profile are quite simple: you just need to have a graduation degree say B.Tech or BCA or B.E. in computer science/information technology or a related technical field. Otherwise, equivalent work experience is needed. Alongside this, a minimum of 3 years of experience is required in testing, preferably if mobile automation testing experience is available. Last, you should be willing to work rotational shifts at the Pune location.
